Bartholin Gland Cyst
The Bartholin gland is a gland which is located slightly below the right & left sides of the opening of a women’s vagina. The primary responsibility of the Bartholin gland is to keep the vagina lubricated through the secretion of mucus when sexually stimulated. Therefore when cyst begin to develop on the Bartholin Gland symptom may include a painless bump inside the vagina, swelling and reddish skin discoloration around the vulva area and discomfort when standing or walking. It is not natural for cyst to develop on both sides of the Bartholin gland at the same time but it does happen. The swelling of the vulva can last up to three days accompanied by symptoms of fever and chills. The most effective Bartholin cyst treatment is the medical insertion of a catheter known as a Word catheter.
This particular type of catheter is small tube with a balloon attached to one end which is inserted directly into the area where the cyst is, and then the balloon is inflated to drain out the cyst, The catheter is left in for a period of time so that the cyst is constantly exposed in order to heal itself through liquid drainage.
Epididymis cyst
The coiled tube which is located above & behind each testicle, the coiled tube is known as the Epididymis. Cyst which develop in this area are medical referred to as Epididymis Cyst, and they are sperm filled lumps. This type of cyst is detected through a physical examination of the scrotum, and is uncovered as unusual lumps above the testicle. At first Epididymis cyst infection presents no symptoms but if epididymis cyst treatment isn’t sought after, symptoms can include swelling chronic pain and a pressurized sensation at the base of the penis. Although this particular type of cyst isn’t fatal it can present intimacy complications because cyst can restrict the amount of blood flow which the penis receives. Keratocystic
Keratocystic is a medical term which refers to the rapid progression of the formation of cyst within the jaws. Symptom of this particular cyst infection includes the swelling of the jaw; bad breathe, discomfort while chewing and in worst case scenario may result in jaw tumors. The treatment thereof is surgery.
